Name after the Kinaray-a word for "ELBOW" because of its shape, Seco Island is another island paradise in the province of Antique that you need to visit. It is a 1.5 km beach covered with fine white sand and bluish sea water that is 21 nautical miles (38.8 km.s) away from the shores of Tibiao and could be reached by boat around 2-5 hours. Seco Island is a perfect destination for camping and beach outing.

          Get hands-on in making the pots and bricks. Discover the art of creating hand made pots and bricks as you mold chocolate-brown soil marvelous masterpieces.

 

            It cannot only discover your skill and arts but also it can strengthen your family and friends bonding because you will have a unity and cooperation to each other and you build a stronger relationship like brick and pots.

BUGTONG BATO FALLS

          Bugtong Bato Falls is a seven tiered falls but only three falls are accessible. Going to Bugtong Bato Falls, , you will take a walk with 30 minutes is the estimated time.
           You will enjoy this activity because of the adventure you will take and you can also do the nature trekking while going to falls..

           After the tiring walk, seeing and experiencing this falls, its all worth it, because you will like the cold and fresh feeling coming from the falls.



   

MALAKAGAT HANGING BRIDGE

                   Malakagat Hanging Bridge can be found near the Ever Land Park and Kayak Inn.This suspension bridge leading to the Sitio Malakagat, Brgy. Tuno has a rigid and strong structure. The high level of water that reached the bridge and strong current during the typhoon but still the bridge is still hanging and strong that became a tourist destination.
                 You can take a picture site of the white water river of tibiao and the cone shape mountain of Brgy. Tuno.

This Kayaking have a (3) three levels:
          Grade 1, basic kayaking course that where the first timer will paddling in the calm water. Grade 2, course that fit for the people who wants a higher level of skill paddling through less calm water. Grade 3 and 4, courses are for those who are professionals that wants to enjoy the adventure rush in the challenging level. In this level  the kayakers how to manoeuvre around the boulders and strong current of waters.
             
        This activity will give you challenge and let your body free from stress and will chill you throughout of the day.
 

Lambaklad Fishing

Lambaklad Fishing!

Fishing is one of the livelihood of every tibiaonon. This Lambaklad fishing is a big help and useful for every fisherman because instead of using boat they used "BALSA", it is made of bamboo that put together.They used "balsa" in order to go in see to catch fish. 

Lambaklad fishing is one of the biggest fishing trap here in Philippines. You don't need to used a dynamite or other explosive materials to catch fish, this lambaklad is a natural way to catch fish by using a net. You just pull out the net under the water .  You will spent 30-40 minutes time in the see together with the fisherman.

In this activity you will know and experience the hardship of every fisherman. Imagine they catch fish under the sun they do not mind even if its hot in order to have a food for their family . It is tiring but memorable and enjoyable.

Try our natural hot bath, The KAWA hot bath,which is made of metalic material that will give you the warmest feeling of your life. It is located in Barangay Tuno, Tibiao, Antique. This kawa hot bath was supposedly used for cooking in every homes of tibiaonon womens. It is used to cook "calamayhati" and other ancient delicacies somewhere in the past. 

But then later on, the tourism community of tibiao discovered the beauty of kawa hot bath. It was promoted to many tourist people and then became popular. It will make you forget stressful thoughts and tiring moments so that you can free your self from the worst feeling inside the city. It is less expensive and everything mixed inside the kawa hot bath is all natural such as herbal medicines and leaves. 

It is a very big kawa  which can accommodate even your whole family. From single to group size accommodates. This Kawa Hot bath was being heated underneath to produce natural process of heat. It is cheap and the experience is unforgettable.

      Tibiao fish spa is one of the tourist spot here in Tibiao, Antique that Antiqueños be proud of, because this spot is unique to the other spa that fishes use in cleaning your feet. 


Many tourist came from different country wants to try this spa because its natural. This fishes is a local fish and it crossbreed in different kinds of fishes and it is called "Therafish", and they are found in the fresh water area. Their teeth is made up of sandpaper texture, that can clean you feet.
One of the purpose of this spa, is to get your dead skin.
 It can relieve you in a stress, and can help circulate your blood well. And also it can stronger your bonding time with your family, friends and other companion because of your laughing moment that you will shared.
Tibiao fish spa , It was discovered by Flord Nickson Calawag, a Fisheries graduate of UP  Visayas.

Fish spa has  three (3) tanks of different sizes, the small fishes or the beginner tank ( the ticklish one), medium fishes or the micro-massage,and the extreme tank or the large fishes.
 They have also a whole body fish spa, combination of small, medium and large fishes. You will enjoy this tickling sensation out of this fishes!

The reason why I want to blog the tourist spot here in tibiao,because I want to be known our town not only here in Philippines but also in the world that there is a natural spot here in Tibiao. I know as of now many tourists in different places wants to explore and have a adventure in their life and tibiao is the exact place to go.

                My goal for this blogging is to promote the ecotourism of tibiao, to be known in other places, and to give satisfaction and enjoyment to the people who wants a adventure in life because it's more fun in Tibiao.
